Bree is an LSW and received her MSW from Loyola University Chicago, with a specialization in Leadership & Development in Social Services. She currently teaches Social Welfare Policy & Community Advocacy in the graduate School of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago and the undergraduate Criminal Justice department teaching Social Justice. Bree is working toward her PhD in Education & Spiritual Formation at Claremont School of Theology based out of Los Angeles, California.
Adjacent to clinical social work, Bree became a DOJ Accredited Representative and completed Trial Advocacy through the VISTA program at Villanova University. As a legal practitioner, Bree represented clients in a variety of discretionary immigration matters before USCIS from 2022-2024.
Bree is most comfortable working with clients ages12+, individuals, couples, and families. She has provided therapeutic treatment, direct services, and legal services most extensively to individuals who identify as women, people of color, immigrants, survivors of domestic violence/human trafficking and the criminal justice system, collegiate/elite level athletes of color, and transnational/trans racial adoptees. A former internationally contracted athlete and Principal performance artist, Bree also provides a unique therapeutic space for elite level and professional athletes/performance artists experiencing career transitions, athletic retirement, and management of racial/social equity dynamics within the Sports & Entertainment Industry. Bree promises to do all she can to create a space of safety, empathy, compassion, and support sufficient for one to heal and evolve.
Bree utilizes an eclectic modality for treatment, including but not limited to: CBT, DBT, Narrative, Intersectional Feminist Theory, and Adoption Competent.
