About Deneen:

Credentials: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (ALMFT), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Dementia Practitioner, and currently finishing her certification to become a doula.

Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Couples Therapy from Governors State University.

Gottman Level 1 Certification: Deneen is trained in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach to improving relationships through communication, conflict resolution, and understanding emotional needs.

Holistic Health Approach: Deneen’s background as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Licensed Practical Nurse allows her to take a holistic approach to wellness, integrating physical, mental, and emotional health into therapy.
