About Cartina:

  • Education:

    • Master’s Degree in Social Work-Specialization in Children and Families

  • Experience: Over 15 years of experience in the social services field

  • Throughout my professional journey, I have had the opportunity to work in diverse settings and environments, expanding my expertise and professional capabilities. My experience in individual, group, and family therapy, serving individuals 18 and above, has enabled me to support clients from varied backgrounds and age groups, addressing challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, infertility, infant/pregnancy loss, perinatal/postpartum concerns, life transitions, relationship stressors, and other obstacles to stability and growth. I am committed to assisting you in navigating life stressors, relationships, life transitions, and fostering a stronger connection with your authentic self. Holding a Master's in Social Work with an emphasis on Children and Families, and possessing clinical experience in community mental health, I am well-positioned to support you. Embarking on a healing journey can be a difficult process. My objective is to establish a comfortable environment where you can focus on personal growth, away from daily stressors. Prioritizing self-centering may require adjustment, but I hope it becomes a central aspect of our collaborative work.
