Hello, my name is Judine Sabal. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) who received a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. With my experience, I have worked with teens and adults providing individual and group sessions.
I am a counselor who value building a therapeutic relationship by being authentic. I also have a deep passion for providing culturally responsive therapy that honors the unique identities and experiences of each individual. I specialize in supporting clients through their trauma, life transitions, and other emotional challenges.
With specialized training in trauma-informed care, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where my clients can explore and heal from past experiences. I understand how unresolved trauma can fuel patterns like perfectionism, driving self-criticism and anxiety, or people-pleasing tendencies that overshadow one’s own needs and desires. My goal is to empower clients to break free from these cycles and live more authentically.
I believe that healing is most effective when therapy reflects the lived experiences and values of my clients. With this in mind, I work collaboratively with you to integrate culturally relevant practices and perspectives, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Together, we work to identify underlying causes of distress, build coping skills, and foster resilience, helping you reclaim control and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Whether you are facing a major life change, struggling to manage stress, or seeking healing from trauma, I am here to support your journey towards balance, healing, growth, and self-compassion!
