KAIELLE SYKES, MA, LPC
Trauma and Anxiety Management Therapist

My name is Kaielle and I am a mental health counselor. In BIPOC communities, mental health is often stigmatized. With the stress and discrimination we experience on a regular basis, it is important for us to prioritize our mental wellness. This is what led me to become a counselor.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Purdue University Northwest. I have worked in the Chicagoland area with children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience working with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma.
My goal as a counselor is to help my clients gain the self-awareness and confidence needed to better their lives. I typically do this with the help of cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques. These techniques help clients to learn the connection between their thoughts/feelings/actions and how to create solutions for the problems in their everyday life.
