DEVION BAKER, MS, LMFT-A

Hello! My name is Devion Baker. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate. I obtained my master’s degree in psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in Houston Texas, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am originally from Florida where I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University.  

My passion for the healing art of therapy is to help build the foundations of marriage and family. I truly believe that the building blocks of familial relationships are what help individuals thrive in the best version of themselves. Healing past generational trauma and breaking down communication barriers that have cemented themselves in our traditions, I aim to create a safe place of acceptance and collaboration for all clients to explore.  My approach to therapy is client lead; collaborating and sharing a space where the client can bring forth the past, present, and future. Using the gift of empathy, I have a passion to help and heal. Although we are all beautifully flawed individuals, we are still capable of being perfect in our imperfections as we are all beautifully, fearfully, and wonderfully made.
